Prefert gel is a lubricant for couples who wish to have children. It is used during sexual intercourse during ovulation. During ovulation, the properties of the cervix and cervical mucus change. Prefert Vaginal Gel has the same pH value (7.0 to 7.4) as the cervical mucus during the fertile days. With a neutral pH value of 7.2, Prefert protects the sperm from an excessively acidic environment and thus ensures their survival. The properties of the gel offer an optimal range of motion. This promotes sperm motility and is an ideal starting aid for a successful journey to the egg cell.
